2. Kingpin

Wilson Fisk started his life as a lowly thug in the depths of Hell’s Kitchen. As the years went by, he worked his way up until he became the Kingpin; the overseer of all organized crime in New York. Despite possessing no superpowers, he is a monstrous-looking man, standing 6ft 7 and weighing 450lbs. According to Fisk, 98% of his mass is muscle, which makes him strong enough to duke it out with superheroes like Spider-Man and Captain America.

But wait. If he has no superpowers, why doesn’t somebody just shoot him? Well, that’s the thing. When the vigilante, Echo learned that Kingpin murdered her father, she shot him six times, including in the face, which rendered him blind.

Although shooting someone six times sounds like overkill, Kingpin managed to survive. His son’s friend, Sammy Silke saw this as a perfect opportunity to become the new Kingpin of Crime. During a meeting, Silke slashed Fisk repeatedly, leaving him for dead. Although this is the closest that Fisk has come to dying, he managed to pull through.

Just to be clear, Fisk was blinded, shot six times including once in the face, stabbed repeatedly, and then left for dead and yet, he made a complete recovery. By comparison, Captain America died after getting shot twice and he’s literally a super-human.
