8 Things DC Comics Wants You To Forget About Poison Ivy

7. She Broke Clayface's Heart

Going back off that whole 'Ivy has a good streak in her' thing, it's equally true that the character's done her fair share of awful deeds throughout the years.

Murder, theft, mental manipulation - all are crimes Ivy is no stranger to. In poor Clayface's case, it was the latter offence he fell victim to, being used as a means to an end for Ivy to preserve her wellbeing while he was stuck in Arkham Asylum.

It took Batman to reveal Pamela's deception, at which point old Clayface had fully invested in the idea that Ivy had truly fallen for him as well.

It was just a bit tragic, really. Of course Ivy's all about manipulation and underhand behaviour, but there was something about this deception that stung more than most, what with Clayface being one of DC's most tragic villains and all.
