8 Things We Learned From DC's June 2019 Solicitations

6. Chris Samnee Is Still Handling Covers For Batman Beyond

It seems like forever since we last saw Chris Samnee do the interiors for a comic book, with the artist having left Marvel after wrapping up Captain America in 2018, and while that spell looks to continue way into June, he is doing the odd cover here and there. The artist has been handling cover duties for Batman Beyond since issue 30, and is still working on the book as of Batman Beyond #33.

We're still waiting to find out what Samnee's next big book will be, but all signs point towards it being something DC related. As for when that'll arrive, it's anyone's guess really. Could it be Batman Beyond? Perhaps something related to Superman? Who knows - what matters is that he's currently producing some wonderful covers for Batman Beyond, an equally wonderful comic penned by Dan Jurgens.

As for the story itself, issue 33 will see the third part of the "Lost Daze" arc, with Bruce surprisingly unable to help Terry on this particular encounter.
