8 Things We Learned From DC's June 2019 Solicitations

1. No Doomsday Clock... Again?

Doomsday Clock might be one of DC's best books, but it's frustratingly struggled to maintain a consistent schedule since first being published. It's now shipping bi-monthly, with Doomsday Clock #10 slated to hit shelves April 17, but there's no sign of the book in June.

It was previously reported that issue 11 would release at the end of May, but with the delay to the book's tenth issue, June would've seemed the likelier bet for either Doomsday Clock #11 or #12 to release in June.

According to DC's solits though, neither issue will be making its way to stores that month. It's possible that it could be July now, but with the tenth issue having been pushed back to April as late as last week, who knows when the following issues will reach shelves?

In fairness, it's probably better that Doomsday Clock is delayed. It's Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's vision, and it should remain that way start to finish. Here's hoping, though, that it manages to conclude before August.
