8 Worst Things The Riddler Has Ever Done

1. Left His Daughter For Dead

It takes a special kind of sicko to turn on his family, but that’s one of the many twisted things that The Riddler has done.

After his daughter Enigma becomes a part of the villainous Titans East group in an attempt to get her father’s attention, The Riddler brings things to a brutal, bloody head. Even though he’s happy to let Enigma be a part of his inner circle, even teaming up with her to fight Batman, there’s a sinister underbelly to all of this when Eddie turns on his offspring.

In Batman #712, following a battle with the Caped Crusader, The Riddler flips his lid and attacks his daughter. But not before firing off one of his trademark riddles, of course.

“What’s purple and green, and bleeds profusely?” he asks. And with that, readers were left with the memory of Enigma’s screams as her fate is left unknown.

The general consensus is that Enigma was either killed or left for dead by her daddy dearest. Whatever her fate, this was yet another example of how twisted The Riddler can be.
