2. Twisted (Twisted from Gods and Monsters Prequel)
The brilliant Elseworlds film Gods and Monsters, directed by Bruce Timm, features the Holy Trinity of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman who now deal justice with brute force and have the world wondering if they are there to save it or rule it. Zod, not Russel Crowe, is Supermans father, Wonder Woman is the child of Ares and Batman is a vampire. Yep. There are three amazing prequels that you can find online from Gods and Monsters, each focusing on a separate character in the film. Which you are going to go watch, right after you finish this article. Right? Right. In the appropriately named Twisted, vampire Batman, attempting to repair the damage to vampires made by Edward Cullen, investigates a warehouse. Inside he finds; a fridge full of limbs, severed heads, an ice tray with red ice and a bottle of Grape Soder and three Jack-in-the-box, two containing legless corpses and a third entrapping a hysterical woman If youre not screaming at Batman to leave that warehouse, then congratulations, youre probably Batman. But if you are screaming at him to run then thats probably because there was a handful of WTF worthy moments in that last paragraph alone. Batman doesnt listen to people who scream at their computers, so he continues on, only to be confronted by Harley Quinn, in perhaps the most indecent outfit shes ever been in. Before you gget excited by that prospect, have another good look at the image above you, because this Harley is more twisted than a contortionist in a car accident. Harley refers to the woman as her plaything and dubs her a poor bitch because she missed out on all the fun that Harley had in store for her. Attacking Batman with a sledgehammer, they end up in a room that features a nuclear family of smiling corpses, including a little boy, staring at a TV. The fight ensues, Harley accidently decapitates her Grandma with a chainsaw, Batman subdues her and then kills her by draining her blood. Which is exactly how Ebola started. Did I mention that Twisted was written by Harley Quinns creator, Paul Dini, as a rib on the dark and gritty nature portrayal of other DC characters? All in all, this aint your mummas Harley (which definitely has a pink vanity plate). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpu6yPAFHrs
