9 Most Messed Up Things Spider-Man Has Ever Done

On the one hand, Spider-Man: Far From Home saw a grieving, desolate Peter Parker who could be excused for not always making the most sensible of decisions. On the other hand, though, giving up one of the most unique pieces of technology on the planet to a fella you've met a matter of days ago? Yeah, that's still inexcusable - and that's without even taking into account that the fella in question would turn out to be a full-on maniacal supervillain.

In Far From Home, Jake Gyllenhaal is at his most charming as Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio. While one could appreciate how the landscape has changed in a post-Endgame world, it's easy to see how Peter and even Nick Fury could be swept up as the world needs to find new heroes.

This is a film where audiences see Peter desperately clinging on to his childhood rather than embrace the pressures and demands placed upon him as an adult hero. It's a fantastical story perfectly encapsulated by a career-best performance from Tom Holland... but still, there's no getting around how messed up it is that Spidey hands over the tech within the E.D.I.T.H. glasses so easily and without any consideration of the potential fall-out of such a decision.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is undoubtedly a beautiful film that shows an incredibly vulnerable Spider-Man, but that still can't excuse how messed up it was to hand over something so powerful and game-changing to someone who ol' Web-head barely knew.
