Batman: 10 Awful Villains The Dark Knight Should Be Ashamed Of

3. Two-Face (Batman Forever)

Two Face

Take one of the most sympathetic villains ever, and the take away everything that makes you want to route for him, relate to him and enjoy about the character, and turn him into a re-hash of The Joker from a previous iteration. This is what Joel Schumacher decided was the best option when bringing Harvey Dent to the screen.

Deciding that Billy Dee Williams, who played DA Harvey Dent in 1989€™s Batman, wasn€™t the right fit to play Two-Face, he turned to Academy Award winner Tommy Lee Jones. While this sounded good on paper, Jones went full on camp with Dent bringing a performance far removed from the source material and presenting a character fans barely recognised, who had more of Nicholson's Joker than any print version of Two Face.

Yet another day-glo disaster from Schumacher's movie universe.

As a pretty nerdy guy, I've loved film and television since I was a wee lad. Growing up in Ireland, The Den was the show to watch with it playing Batman The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and everything in between. I have an MA in Radio and Television Production and have written for various sites, hope you enjoy my articles/lists for What Culture!
