Sure, there have been times when the Batman did kick the bucket in the comics, but it usually plays out that way only so the Cape Crusader can return and shock everyone. Hollywood even trolled us with this one in the Nolan film The Dark knight Rises. However, the Batman has never officially kicked the bucket in any of the films either - but does that mean it never will? Honestly, Hollywood is afraid to do many things controversial with the Batman mythos - that's the whole point to this article.
