2. Batman Using A Gun
What? Batman used a gun? Never! Well actually, this is something only the most loyal comic book fans know about. In his debut in the comics, the Batman wasn't the merciful hero he is today. Back then, he used a gun alongside other brutal means to kill criminals. Though that was eventually written out of the continuity - Batman lost the gun and adopted the oath to never kill - he would once again take up a pistol one more time in one of the modern continuities. That opportunity came in Final Crisis, when Batman was forced to use a pistol loaded with a special bullet to shoot down and kill the Apokalypse tyrant Darkseid who was in the middle of destroying all of mankind with the anti-life equation. Sure, this was arguably the most controversial moment in Batman comic history, but given how seriously high the stakes were, it was worth it. Still, it's something that has never happened again in the comics, and we're betting that it will never happen in the films because Hollywood is careful about how they handle Batman's commitments, though they haven't always been successful.
