Batman: 10 Most Iconic Locations in the History of the Dark Knight

10. Jim Gordon€™s Office, GCPD

Those not fully initiated in Batman comic book lore might view Jim Gordon as something of a tertiary character. After all, in each movie version so far, Gordon has been relatively skimmed over; even in Nolan€™s Dark Knight series he boasted much less depth than his ginger-haired comic book counterpart. In the comics, we€™re constantly revisiting Jim Gordon€™s office. In it, he meets with the Batman on a regular basis, he reviews macabre case files, he smokes, he drinks and he conducts his relationship €“ if you can call it that €“ with his alienated family, often over the phone. Gordon is an extremely dedicated individual consumed by what he does; with Gotham so rife with crime as it is, there€™s little wonder that we€™ve see the inside of this tiny little office again and again, from every conceivable angle, along the course of Batman€™s eighty plus year history.
