Batman: A Visual History
9. Michael Keaton's Batman
1989 saw the first true big budget blockbuster featuring the Dark Knight, simply titled "Batman", with Michael Keaton a seemingly unlikely (but genuinely great) casting in the lead role under the direction of Tim Burton.
Keaton would star as Batman twice, reprising the role in 1992's Batman Returns. These movies changed the way non-comic book fans thought of superheroes and paved the way for the movies that are loved today.
