1. Our Theory: The Joker Killed Himself With Enchantress' Help

What? The Joker killed himself. It's happened before, remember The Dark Knight Returns? He breaks his own neck simply to spite Batman. And it wouldn't surprise us if he's done it again just to mess with The Dark Knight's brain. With Enchantress already being introduced early on in the flashbacks of the book, we think it's likely she's got something to do with it.

If The Joker and Enchantress worked together to ensure that The Joker's soul/spirit and or ghost stayed on Earth to haunt Batman while also framing him for his murder, it would surely send Bats round the bend.

What is The Joker obsessed with doing? Proving that one bad day can turn a man insane. Uh oh.
