Months of anticipation are over - Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's new Batman arc 'Death Of The Family' is here, and The Joker is back. And if the first installment, Batman #13, is anything to go by, we're in for a hell of a ride. With its title calling back to the seminal 'A Death In The Family', in which Jason Todd (then Robin) was brutally beaten to death with a crowbar by Joker, Snyder and Capullo appear to be hinting at dark days ahead for the Bat-family. But just what does the 'dynamic duo' of Snyder and Capullo have in store for us? What's Joker's plan? Who, if anyone, is going to die? Here's a look at Death Of The Family and 5 possible ways it could go down.
1. Joker Will Kill A 'Robin'
This could be too obvious, but it could also be perfect. Nobody really expects Joker to simply kill another Robin, whether that's Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne or Jason Todd (again), which is why it would be pretty shocking. If I could choose, I'd want Bruce's biological son Damian on the chopping block as I've never been a big fan - plus it would literally be a death in the family, biologically speaking. In truth, I can't really see it happening - because it would cause problems with the Batman & Robin book. Some people are speculating that Tim could be in the firing line, and if a Robin is going to die then I think he's most vulnerable. I can't seen Nightwing being killed off and Jason Todd (Red Hood) would be a little silly as he's already been offed by Joker once before.
Likelihood: 5/10
