Batman: The Adventures Continue - Everything We Know About BTAS' Return

Another character that Dini confirmed will be making his Batman: The Animated Series debut in the upcoming comic is none other than Slade Wilson himself a.k.a. Deathstroke.

In hindsight, it's rather shocking that Slade never appeared in the original series. Not only does the character have some well-documented history with The Dark Knight, he's perhaps the biggest rival of the Teen Titans and, more importantly, Dick Grayson's Robin. With that in mind, there would have been some great story potential there - especially given how complex that particular iteration of Dick was.

We've seen many memorable portrayals of Deathstroke over the years - the comics, the Teen Titans animated series, Manu Bennett's in Arrow and Esai Morales' in Titans - so even the idea of finally seeing his Animated Series design is one that truly gives this writer goosebumps.
