Black Widow: 10 Insanely Dark Moments That Won’t Be Used

While you'd expect the 2019 Black Widow comic to maybe tone down some of the brutality of its predecessors, it proves every expectation entirely wrong by introducing what may be the single darkest storyline in the hero's history - that of the 'No Restraints Play' storyline, which revolves around a porn site wherein viewers are shown the torture and mutilation of victims for their pleasure.

This alone would be dark enough, but after being introduced to the idea, we are shown the awful aftermath of it - in the form of a little girl, who escaped the club, but not before they cut her hands off and brutalised her; all to record it, of course.

It's some of the most stomach-turning stuff that Marvel have put out in a while, and it belongs more in the like of The Taken or John Wick than any kind of MCU film.

After all, a superhero film seems the wrong way for kids to find out about the idea of child trafficking.
