3. The Doctor (Doctor Who)
The reasons that the Doctor would be able to wield the blue ring of hope is twofold. First, he represents hope for his own race; The Time Lords. Second, he represents hope for our planet, and indeed the universe as a whole, given that he has saved them both from being destroyed several times over. I also think that it would be very interesting to see the Doctor with power. Sure, he has an utterly brilliant mind and the likes of the TARDIS and the Sonic Screwdriver at his disposal, but wouldn't it be cool to see him as more of a superhero in the traditional sense? Instead of having to outwit and out-prepare his foes, he would be able to actually fight them, which would be absolutely awesome.
