7. The Evil Batmen Look Awesome
Dark Nights: Metal's big bads have been revealed, and they look incredible.
As we've already mentioned, the good guys will be facing off against a band of evil, inter-dimensional Batmen collectively known as the Dark Justice League.
And it gets even better - each one of them is imbued with a twisted version of a Justice League member's power.
For instance, Red Death can tap into the Speed Force, but doesn't harness it quite as righteously as The Flash, while the Murder Machine is a Bat-Cyborg hybrid.
Nobody will relish the prospect of going up against The Devastator, an evil Caped Crusader who shares DNA with Doomsday and Superman, but the leader of the group will no doubt be the most terrifying.
DC is yet to reveal The Batman Who Laughs - an amalgamation of Bats and the Joker, but be prepared for a few weeks' worth of knightmares when they do.
The Dark Justice League will star in their own line of tie-in one-shots, set to run between September and October, so be sure to add them to your reading list.
