Every Character Who Lifted Thor's Hammer Mjolnir

Donny Cates has done some crazy things with Thor ever since he took over the book from Jason Aaron, and last year, he hinted at something fans have wanted to see for a long time: Loki being worthy of Mjolnir.

Loki has wielded Mjolnir before, but there has always been some asterisk or proviso attached to it, such as in Loki: Agent of Asgard, when he was only able to wield it because Scarlet Witch reversed his villainous personality.

But when Sif sends Mjolnir to Jotunheim to put an end to the fight between Thor and her alien monster boyfriend Beta Ray Bill, the hammer is found by Loki, who had been crowned king of the realm after War of the Realms.

And then Loki picks it up.

It's only for a moment, as Thor immediately calls it back, but without hesitation, and without any visible struggle, Loki casually accomplished what he had been trying to do for untold centuries.

You'd better believe this Chekov's gun is going to fire again in the coming issues. Because now Loki knows for a fact that he is worthy.
