7. Hulk Fights The Avengers - Immortal Hulk #6-7
The Hulk's relationship with the Avengers has always been a complicated one, with the olive oligarch being just as likely to get in a fight with the team as to help them take down villains.
However, the Immortal Hulk series takes place when the Hulk is decidedly at odds with the superhero team, having been on the run causing chaos since his revival in the first issue. As such, it's no surprise that the Avengers have been trying to track him down - although this becomes a huge surprise when it's revealed that they're prepared to kill him if he doesn't come with them quietly.
Although the Hulk is clearly a huge renegade at this point, it does seem undeniably cold to try and murder him while their friend, Bruce Banner, is still somewhere inside him. That said, it's not the first time the Avengers have decided to try and murder the team's most problematic member - it's just unnerving to see them do so with seemingly zero guilt.
