7. Implementation: Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, The Flash
Realizing that they hadn’t heard from Green Lantern, The Flash and Wonder Woman went to Kyle’s apartment and found him laying on the floor blind, a devastating fate for the young artist and hero. Before they can help him, members of the League of Assassins burst into the small apartment, causing an explosion that staggers the heroes.
The assassins shoot Diana with a nanite round that knocked her out but in her mind, she was confronted by a woman who was her equal in every way and the pair engage in a continuous battle that seemingly could go on forever or until the Princess’ heart gave out. The Assassins shot a nanite projectile at the Flash, who vibrated his body to try and avoid it. But the projectile itself vibrated and caused near-light speed seizures to befall Wally.
The Martian Manhunter arrived at Kyle’s apartment when Aquaman was unable to warn them through their signal devices. J’onn was wearing an Atlantean aqua suit provided by Arthur to quell the magnesium on his skin. Talia al Ghul grabbed Diana’s tiara and created a cut in the suit, which weakened the Manhunter. Kyle was able to fire blindly with his ring to knock out a few of the assassins but al Ghul simply slipped behind him and knocked him out.
