9. Logan's Back... And He Has The Mind Gem

Well, we all knew it was coming anyway, but woo! Wolverine's back everyone, because it was the return everyone definitely wanted... right?
Jokes aside, Aaron did handle the character's return rather well, and it was a nice moment to see him go 'snikt' and pop a rather unlucky frost giant in the face. Time will tell how fans respond to the character's return (we're not all that fussed, to be quite honest), but it's apparent that he - like the Ghost Rider of today - will have a major part to play in the threads this issue established.
Most interesting about Logan's return, however, isn't that he had a 'Galactic Travel Guide' handbook on his carseat, but that he now has his hands on an Infinity Stone - the Mind Gem in particular. It looks as though Gamora holds a special interest in the stone, so it could be the case that Logan will be jumping into the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe more-so than the X-Books we typically expect.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
