Although we only saw Wakanda for a brief moment in Legacy, it made for a massive revelation - one that will fundamentally transform the mythos surrounding the country and, by extension, the Black Panther himself.

Here, the book takes us to the Benhazin star system, the planet of Bast and, most important of all, Birnin T'Challa, the throneworld of Wakanda's newfound intergalactic empire.

Wow.

This has so many implications for Ta-Nehisi Coates' series, especially since Wakandan lore has always been heavily rooted in myth and legend. It fits with the decidedly cosmic feel of Legacy so far however, and - given how good the writer's Black Panther series has been - it's a course we can't wait to see unfold.
