MCU Phase 5: 10 Insane Predictions You Need To Know
7. Fantastic Four Movie
The previous three attempts at making a Fantastic Four movie were... unsuccessful, to say the least. The 2000s movie at least had enough success to get a sequel, so it has that going for it over its two adjacent brothers, but that doesn't exactly make it a good movie.
But with Disney having bought all of Fox, seemingly just to get their hands on the first family of comics, they now have the opportunity to introduce them to the MCU.
However, like with the X-Men, it doesn't look like they'll be showing up in Phase 4, which is for the best. The fewer people remember the Josh Trank movie when the MCU FF movie comes out, the better off we will be as a species. Besides, Fantastic Four headlining the next phase of the MCU will be quite the mission statement.
As for who would direct it, I see no reason not to let Peyton Reed have another shot at this property like he was supposed to in the mid-2000s before Fox canned his awesome period piece idea.
