Ranking The Green Lanterns Worst To Best

1. Hal Jordan

Green Lantern Corps
DC Comics

Hal Jordan was the first of the new Green Lanterns when he debuted at the start of the Silver Age in Showcase #22 in 1958. As the first human to be chosen as a Green Lantern by the Corps, he set the standard all other Lanterns must follow and his will power made him one of the most powerful Lanterns of all time.

During the 1990s, Jordan was recast as the villain during the Emerald Twilight event, which saw him taken over by Parralax. He destroyed the Corps and most of the Guardians of the Universe, but this helped pave the way for changes to the Green Lantern mythos.

Eventually, Jordan was redeemed and he went on to save the universe on multiple occasions. He even became Spectre for a period of time, which is another way of saying he was God's wrath embodied in physical form.

Jordan returned to the Corps and remains at the top of their roster in terms of power and ability to overcome fear. Of all the Green Lanterns, only he could destroy the Corps and return to stand above the rest as the greatest Green Lantern of them all!
