Ranking The Green Lanterns Worst To Best

4. Kyle Rayner

Green Lantern Corps
DC Comics

Kyle Rayner was brought onto the scene back in 1984 in Green Lantern #48 following the events of Emerald Twilight. Rayner was found by the sole surviving member of the Guardians of the Universe and made into a Green Lantern.

When he was chosen, Rayner was a struggling artist, but he took on the challenge of being a Green Lantern seriously. It was never revealed why he was chosen, but it likely had to do with his ability to experience, but overcome fear.

Fear is the number one weakness of all Green Lanterns, but Rayner continuously demonstrated an ability to overcome it. After some serious setbacks and heartache, he went on to become a powerful member of the Corps.

Eventually, Rayner became a White Lantern, capable of utilizing all spectrum of emotion. This lasted only a short while until he divided the power into seven additional White Lantern rings he passed to other worthy warriors.
