Secret Six: 9 Things You Need To Know

One of the facets that makes Secret Six such an interesting read is that the cast of characters are a bunch of misfits in-and-out of universe.

While there have been a dozen or so members, there are four major players in the group.

Catman was a Silver Age villain turned into a third-rate pathetic slob in the post-Crisis world, including actually having a pot-belly at one point. Gail Simone took that dated character and turned him back into a true threat, able to actually go toe-to-toe with Batman and almost win.

Scandal Savage is the daughter of Vandal Savage, trained since childhood to become one of the deadliest fighters - although when she’s introduced she’s almost a stereotypical shrewd businesswoman.

Ragdoll is a legacy villain, with his father being the original JSA villain. Having gone through surgeries to get joints that work like his father’s, and also taking off his genitals for "being a bother", he's an eccentric extreme contortionist who may or may not have been in a relationship with a Parademon at one point.

The final mainstay member is Deadshot, who everyone may be familiar with because of the Suicide Squad movie. The ongoing series also added a major player that would make all fans get excited - Bane!
