Miles Morales debuted in the comics nine years ago. Nine. Let that sink in - one of the most successful comic book characters of the last few years was created within the last decade. How ridiculous is that?
He's had numerous comics, an animated film, several appearances in Marvel's animated shows, has been on the Avengers' roster, and is now going to star in a game of his own. And all that will have happened in around ten years, to call the character's success meteoric would be an understatement.
The one downside to the hero having risen to such prominence in such a short space of time is that his wardrobe is not quite as full as that of an old-timer like Peter Parker. This becomes an issue when trying to provide the players of that aforementioned video game some costumes to unlock, especially when the previous game featured a collection of suits that would make Tony Stark blush.
So, for the purposes of helping Insomniac out (and trying to ensure our favourite suits are in the game), here are a few options for alternate clothing for the PS5's Spider-Man.
10. All Spider-Verse Variants
Because why wouldn't you?
Spider-Verse gave Miles so many iconic looks - the spray-painted version of his original suit, that but with the excellent additions of a hoodie, shorts and sneakers, and a poorly fitting shop bought suit with a yellow cape.
Insomniac's Miles should have all of these variants, especially seeing as Spider-Verse was the film that introduced so many to Morales.
Insomniac was able to get Peter's Spider-Verse costume for the original game, so there would have to be some pretty massive extenuating circumstances for none of Miles' to appear in the in-between-quel. Though, even I must admit that getting all of them would probably be quite a tall order when you consider the varying dimensions of the three versions - so, if only one was to be included, then the hoodie & shorts iteration would be the best choice.
