The Runaways: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

Xavin is a Skrull prince who initially arrives with the intention to marry Karolina, this is to usher in an era of peace between their races. Initially, the Runaways protest but Karolina ends up legitimately falling for Xavin.

Like most Skrulls, Xavin is able to alter their appearance via shapeshifting abilities and while Xavin initially appears as a male Skrull prince, they morph into a male human teen to fit in on Earth. Later on, when Karolina confides in Xavin that she is attracted to women, Xavin adapts themselves into the image of a teen girl.

As the story progresses, it is revealed in a conversation with Molly that Xavin prefers presenting as a girl, but does not fully identify with women and from this point on Xavin is shown as presenting whatever they choose, whenever they feel like it.

While Xavin provided a respectful representation of young adult identification and the concepts of gender, they also proved themselves in battle on numerous occasions, including one confrontation with Marvel Boy in which Xavin had their neck snapped and used their unique physiology to repair the usually fatal occurrence. Talk about no-selling!
