Top 10 Time-Defying Arcs In Comics History

9. The Amazing Spider-Man: I Killed Tomorrow

Next up we have an entry from the Spider-Man universe. Published in 2012, I Killed Tomorrow presents an interesting take on a time-travel storyline. The story revolves around a time machine that grants the user a view of what 24 hours in the future will look like. When Peter Parker uses the machine he is presented with an image of New York City in ruin and a clock frozen at 2:50pm. Upon his return to the present, Peter as Spidey is faced with a race against the clock to find out what will cause the destruction of New York City and prevent it from coming to fruition. Although the storyline as a whole feels like filler material and does not add much to the series, the arc is an exciting race against time and appearances from the mysterious Madame Web help it to earn the number 9 spot on this countdown.
