5. Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 8: Time Of Your Life
We reach the half-way point on our countdown with an entry from Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8, which continues the storyline of the well loved TV series. Time Of Your Life also features a crossover with Buffy creator Joss Whedons earlier Buffy spin off, Fray, as the storyline sees Buffy being transported to the future where she must team up with future slayer Melaka Fray in order to take down an elusive enemy. The thing that makes this arc so great is that it truly encapsulates the spirit of Buffy with brilliant writing from Whedon himself and the return of Dark Willow as an antagonist. This story arc earns its place on our countdown thanks to it's gripping storyline, amazing crossover between two parts of the Buffy multiverse and the return of the one of the most iconic villains from Buffy the TV series; the sinister Dark Willow.
