Venom: 11 WTF Moments Not Used In The Film

Though the Symbiote's history is complex, it turns out that one of its earliest hosts was Deadpool, right before it bonded to Spider-Man for the first time. In terms of in-comics chronology, Deadpool was the first host to what would eventually be known as the Venom Symbiote.

It was, at the time, a benevolent Symbiote, as the Klyntar race were originally, but Deadpool's madness corrupted it. It apparently got so bad that Deadpool felt sorry for it, releasing it from their bond and eventually pointing it out to Spider-Man.

Deadpool would have other encounters with the Symbiote later, re-bonding with it after Spider-Man abandoned it, and right before it found Eddie Brock and formed Venom.

Deadpool's madness would sadly only have adverse effects on the Symbiote, with its rage heightened by Deadpool's botched attempt at giving it good and positive emotions. Though Deadpool himself tried to do good by the Symbiote, he would only end up confusing and enraging it.

Later on, though not directly involved with Venom, Deadpool would also bond with the Hybrid Symbiote, an amalgamation of the Venom Symbiote's "children", defeating Carnage with their combined power.
