Venom: 11 WTF Moments Not Used In The Film

5. The Venom Mobile

Flash Thompson Anti Venom
Marvel Comics

Comics are a strange and wonderful place. This can be seen in stories that are awe-inspiring and suspense-filled, while also being completely and utterly ridiculous, a tongue-in-cheek style that sometimes only seems to work in the medium.

This is most prominent in the memorable, if infamous, debut of the Spider-mobile, back when somebody thought that it was a good idea to give a wall-crawling, web-swinging hero a car that also wall-climbs (but does not web-swing).

Almost as a callback to that remarkably silly age of comics storytelling, there was one instance in the more recent Agent Venom comics where Flash Thompson, bonded with the Venom Symbiote, was briefly able to take control of an entire car.

And, knowing how to have as much fun with this as any sane person would, Agent Venom rams the car through a wall to startle a few armed gunmen, proclaiming "ENTER, THE VENOM-MOBILE", all for a dramatic entrance.

It was a brief gag, but one that made an impact, as part of the hilarious and ridiculous side of Venom's history.
