Venom 2: 10 Things You Need To Know About Shriek

4. She's A Huge Part Of Maximum Carnage

Maximum Carnage is undeniably the perfect comic for Venom 2 to adapt for the big screen - half because it's an absolutely brilliant comic, and half because it heavily features the Venom/Carnage feud that was set up at the end of the 2018 Venom film.

Just because the series is focused on Venom and Carnage, however, doesn't mean that they're the only major characters within the comic.

With the first issue of the series containing Carnage and Shriek's first encounter, the latter also goes on to be a pretty big deal in the storyline, with Barrison's powers corrupting the civilians of New York and causing them to turn on each other.

While Maximum Carnage is the perfect way to introduce the rivalry between Venom and Carnage, it's also the perfect way to introduce Shriek, too - so expect to see a significant amount of her, even if she is delegated to just being Carnage's lackey.

I like my comics like I like my coffee - in huge, unquestionably unhealthy doses.
