What Happened To Everyone Who Dated Joker?

When you think of the Joker's love interests, it's impossible to not think of Harley Quinn first - the most long-term and most endearing character to ever end up dating the Joker.

After initially being created for Batman: The Animated Series, the Joker's adoring sidekick was so beloved by fans that she was then added in the comic universe, debuting in the 1999 comic, Batman: Harley Quinn.

From there, Doctor Quinzel became increasingly more popular, until a mix of her popularity and the increasingly awful way the Joker treated her led to Quinn featuring in comics without the Joker, such as in Suicide Squad, or even in the original BTAS episodes Harley and Ivy, and Harlequinade.

While certain stories often still have her as the love interest of the Joker, the general consensus is that the pair have split ways after Harley grew sick of being the Clown Prince's punchline - both figuratively and literally.
