What Happened To Everyone Who Dated Joker?

The assistant district attorney of Gotham, Terry Ammons takes the questionable career choice of both dating and joining forces with the Joker, convinced that only she properly understands him.

And so Ammons assists with Joker's plan in the series - which involves the villain turning the public against Batman by toying with the media. Despite how awful parts of this plan are, Terry does them all, even reluctantly agreeing to be beat with a lead pipe in order to convince people that the pair were brutalised by the Dark Knight.

Realising that the Joker doesn't actually care for her, Ammons turns on him towards the end of the series, suddenly aware of how much she had been manipulated by the clown. While she does try and shoot Batman in the final scene for her villainous beau, this mercifully turns out to be a prop gun, allowing Terry to instead help the Bat deal with the Joker, and then apologise to the put-upon hero.
