What Happened To Everyone Who Held The Infinity Gauntlet?

Starting things off with the most obvious inclusion, everyone's favourite Mad Titan Thanos wielded the Infinity Gauntlet during the eponymous storyline from 1992. In a bid to pursue Lady Death romantically, Thanos wiped out half the life in the universe, before being undone by the surviving Avengers, who managed to use his own power against him.
Unfortunately for Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the very person who swiped the Gauntlet from Thanos ended up being corrupted by its power (more on that in a second), and so they were forced to enlist the Mad Titan in order to take on the Gauntlet's new wearer. Thanos didn't end up reclaiming the weapon, but after aiding the heroes would continue to be just as tyrannical as before, conquering galaxies with the equally sinister Black Order.
Currently, in the comics, Thanos isn't doing so well. In the recent Infinity Wars event, the Mad Titan was killed by the figure known as Requiem, who later turned out to be Gamora. All this because he planned to reassemble the Gauntlet, so not a great idea in the grand scheme of things.
