10. Katana
One of the Birds of Prey's more regular members, particularly post - New 52, is Katana.
Tatsu Yamashiro was trained all her life to be a master of the blade, but never really pursued using her abilities to fight crime until the Yakuza made the mistake of murdering her husband. Not only did she take up the blade to destroy the Yakuza and all like them, but the blade she took up was an ancient magic sword known as Soultaker. As the name implies, it takes and traps the life from the people she slays with it. Yeah, Katana doesn't mess around.
She was an occasional guest star on Birds of Prey before the reboot, but afterwards she became a much more prominent character on the book. However, she later left the team to join the Justice League when Amanda Waller offered her a vital clue about the death of her husband and who might be responsible for his murder.
While Katana has shown up in the books here and there since, it's unknown whether or not she'll return as a full member. Seeing as how they're still friends, it's definitely a possibility, but then, the same could've been said about Lady Black Hawk.
