What Happened To Everyone Who Joined The Fantastic Four?

After Frankie Raye was doused in chemicals, she developed the ability to fly and shoot fire. Her father, Phineas Horton (the creator of the Human Torch android), feared society would fear Frankie's power and so, hypnotised her to forget about the whole experience and render her unable to use her abilities.

Years later, Frankie met Johnny Storm and became his girlfriend. After Reed freed Frankie from her hypnosis, Sue encouraged her to join the Fantastic Four, making her the first person to join Marvel's First Family without replacing a team member.

In fact, the group saw Frankie as such a solid addition to their dynamic, they considered changing their name to the Fantastic Five. In her brief time in the ensemble, she faced Camelot occultists, a Caligulan soldier, Terrax the Tamer, and the scary (but terribly named) aliens, Wendy's Friends.

Sadly, Frankie was only on the team for a few issues. As Galactus prepared to gobble up the Earth, Frankie offered her services as his herald to seek out worlds to devour if he spared her planet. After Galactus endowed her with the Power Cosmic, she left Earth as his new herald, Nova.
