Gambit could have made a living as the lead singer of some bizarre boy band, but instead he (generally) works at trying to be a hero, and you have to give him credit where credit is due there.

Then again, maybe that's because if he got media attention, they'd quickly learn this cool bad boy is named Remy (like the rat), and has a backstory that's basically the plot of the musical Oliver. Can't help but think that'd be the kiss of death for a rockstar.
