When Did Harley Quinn FINALLY Break Up With Joker?

These break-ups are inspired by her first solo comic series in 2000. Harley breaks up with the Joker in the first issue. Mister J was not a fan of sharing the spotlight. So when Harley turned the main attraction of Joker's them park into a Harley and Joker ride, he shot Harley - or at least he thinks he does, as Harley turns up a short while after.

To Harley's surprise she sees Poison Ivy dressed as her, shot down on the ground. Attempting to kill you is a pretty substantial reason to break-up, and so is your boyfriend shooting your best friend. It was the final straw for Harley.

The first break-up ever depicted between the two characters was in Batman: The Animated Series. This took place in the episode titled Harlequinade from 1994. In the episode, the Joker plans to use an atomic bomb to turn Gotham into Krypton, so Batman enlists the help of Harley.

The Dark Knight uses this time to ask what many have wanted to over the years - what does she see in the Joker? She says he turned her life around; she went from a boring routine of listening to others' problems to a spontaneous series of adventures full of laughter.
