10 2017 Movies That Could Score 100% On Rotten Tomatoes

Nothing beats a bit of Agatha Christie, and it’s been awhile since her work got the big budget, all-star treatment. 2017 will correct that error with Murder On The Orient Express, where Kenneth Branagh’s Hercule Poirot will investigate a murder, which takes place on the Orient Express.

Branagh is also directing this new version, and the studio has spared no expense on it, with the cast also including Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Michael Pena, Derek Jacobi and Judi Dench. Branagh is well within his comfort zone with this material, and given his talent with actors there’s every chance this could be one of the defining takes on the story.

That said the director’s track record has the occasional misfire on it, but the signs are good he’ll bring this one into the station.
