6. Gisele's Return - Fast X
With each and every entry of the Fast and Furious franchise the impressive cast list only grows bigger and more impressive. The likes of Brie Larson, Jason Momoa, and Charlize Theron have graced Vin Diesel's film series over the years, but Fast X looked to the past for a couple of its biggest stars.
The post-credit sting brought Dwayne Johnson's Luke Hobbs back to the proceedings for the first time since Hobbs and Shaw in 2019, but this wasn't the only returning character. Gal Gadot reprised her role as Gisele, showing her face in the film series for the first time in over a decade.
The issue with Gisele returning is that she perished the last time she was seen. The Fast and the Furious has brought characters back from the dead before, but with Gal Gadot there was literally not so much as an attempt for an explanation, leaving everyone in the dark.
This is a franchise that has earned itself a reputation for leaning into the ridiculous, pushing the suspension of disbelief to the absolute limit, but dead characters returning to life with no explanation is too far for even in this universe.
