Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably responsible for the majority of your favourite action films - Terminator, Predator, Total Recall, even Kindergarten Cop were all iconic action films throughout the 80's and 90's. He has also appeared in Conan The Barbarian and both Expendables films as well as 2012, in which he appeared as himself as the Governor of California, a role of which he was re-elected for on November 7, 2006, in California's 2006 gubernatorial election, defeating Democrat Phil Angelides. During this spell in politics he took a backseat to acting but is set to return not he has completed his second term. He has been penciled in for numerous films this year such as The Last Stand, The Tomb, Ten, even a sequel to Conan - The Legend of Conan, set for release next year, as well as a sequel to the Terminator in 2015. He is 65 these days, old enough for retirement and a bus pass, but he is still going. Resurrecting the likes of Conan and the Terminator is a bold move and it remains to be seen if it is one that will pay off.
