10 Actors Not Returning For Upcoming Sequels

3. Charles Dance - Godzilla Vs Kong

It’s always charming to see some humility from stars who, after decades of success onscreen, we may reasonably expect to have grown a(n even) larger ego than is typically expected from their profession. And Charles Dance is a charming guy at the best of times (to say nothing of his turn as bastard patriarch Tywin Lannister on HBO megahit Game of Thrones, that is),

So we weren’t surprised, but were happy, to see him admit that he’s not in the follow-up to Michael Doughtery’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters “that I know of”. The actor followed up the casual admission by adding that he’d be happy to reprise to role if anyone wants him to, so maybe it’s unfair to rule out a return.

I mean, could you say no to that amiable old man? He doesn’t even need to play the villain again, just give the guy something to do! King Kong could do with a new, more debonair voice in this one.
