Every now and again, a creative comes along that tries to take on everything. More than just a musician, these people are looking to leave their mark across all media, whether on be on the screen, on the stage, or even just being the king or queen of whatever else is coming down the pipeline. Though the next generation of actors have been known to have a lot of side projects going on, no one can really claim to balance everything as well as Donald Glover.

Coming out of the YouTube world at first, most people probably picked up on Glover's talent through shows like Community. He certainly was no slouch either, earning praise from his cast members like Chevy Chase and going on to star in big budget films like the Lion King and one of the most inventive TV shows in recent memory with Atlanta.

If you know anything about hip hop though, Glover's alias as Childish Gambino is also a welcome switch up from his usual style. Hell, it might be a stretch tying him to just hip hop, considering the heavy dose of funk that he brought on the album Awaken My Love and the cerebral music video experience we were given with This is America just a few years ago. Even though the Golden Age of Hollywood seems to be fading away, Glover's new ventures might be a good indication of where we might be going in the future.
