Ehrenreich assumes the mantle of one of the most popular and iconic characters in all of cinema when he explores the early years of everyone's favourite scruffy looking nerfherder in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

In any other circumstance this would probably be reason enough to put Ehrenreich at number one on the list. After all, Star Wars movies have been the top or second highest box office earners in each of the last three years and have made stars of the previously little-known John Boyega and Daisy Ridley.

The only trouble is that Solo looks like the kind of messed up, troubled production that even Lucasfilm themselves might be starting to think could flop in a big way. Ehrenreich himself is not exactly distanced from the bad buzz coming off the Solo set, with rumours of him needing an acting coach.

So, why is he on this list at all then? Because Star Wars movies have been troubled productions before and came out as successes in the end (witness the many reshoots for Rogue One) and, although Solo being a disaster still seems the more likely outcome, if Ehrenreich does somehow actually manage to pull off being the new Han Solo then that alone is a ticket to instant stardom.
