10 Actors Who Could Play Donald Trump In A Film Biopic

1. Alec Baldwin

Donald Trump is naturally a funny looking and sounding person so it's fun to impersonate him, and nobody did it better than Alec Baldwin on Saturday Night Live only last weekend (which might have worked against Baldwin as many are now claiming that the sketch actually increased Trump's popularity).

Anybody who has seen the sketch, in which Baldwin is eerily channeling Trump to horrifyingly funny results, won't be surprised to find that he has no love for his new president. Baldwin, in true Hollywood spirit, has never been shy with sharing his political views having endorsed Barack Obama in both of his successful political campaigns.

In the sketch Trump nails the smug, self-entitled facial expressions, combining perfectly with the wig that is probably covered in so much hairspray that it would burst into flames should a person light a cigarette in the same vicinity. But it's the voice that really hits the impression home, so much so that you wouldn't be considered crazy if you thought that Donald Trump was really just a character by Alec Baldwin. I guess Team America was right - Alec Baldwin really is the best actor in the world.

Overall though if you're unhappy about the election result, never fear. Even if Alec Baldwin doesn't want to play Trump in a film at least you might be treated to more regular SNL sketches featuring him as your new president. They might just help you get through the next four years.

Whoever snatches the inevitable role of Trump in an equally inevitable upcoming movie about his short but eventful political career so far, let's hope that there isn't a vitriolic campaign in which we all fall out and argue while choosing to vote for whoever gets the job.
