10 Actors Who Desperately Need Their Own Netflix Movie

5. Adrien Brody

Adrien Brody is one hell of an actor, evidenced no better than by his Best Actor win for 2002's The Pianist at the mere age of 29, making him the youngest ever recipient of the award.

Brody is an immensely versatile actor who has appeared in awards fare, blockbusters (King Kong, Predators), art-house dramas you've never heard of (Detachment) and, yes, several Wes Anderson films (The Darjeeling Limited, The Grand Budapest Hotel).

However, only a handful of his movies have enjoyed theatrical releases over the last decade-or-so, perhaps indicative of either his desire to chase a paycheck wherever it resides, or his preference for left-field projects (the truth probably being somewhere in the middle).

Brody's unconventional leading man looks don't necessarily endear him to the popcorn-gobbling crowd, so in that respect he's got "a face for Netflix", where he doesn't need to court the shallow fancies of mainstream fickleness and can be freely streamed by millions without leaving their bed. No, we're not calling the guy ugly, before you ask.

How Likely Is It?: It's hard to imagine Brody having an aversion to Netflix when he's appeared in movies like InAPPpropriate Comedy (ugh), so he's a compelling possibility in the very least. 6/10
