10 Actors Who HATED Their Roles In Famous Movies

6. Channing Tatum - G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra

Most actors, over the course of their entire career, will star in a film that they hate. However, it is rare to see any actor be as clear and explicit in the description of a film they starred in as Channing Tatum was about G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra.

In an interview he said "I f***ing hate that movie", complaining that he had been pushed into making it by the studio. He pointed out the bad script and also said how he didn't want to remake something he had grown up with.

When he was given the three picture deal by Paramount that pushed him into G.I. Joe, Tatum was a rising star, albeit one who was not looking to star in action movies. In reference to the kind of roles he wanted, he said "The Coen brothers aren't watching G.I. Joe".

Fortunately for Tatum, he has since put G.I. Joe behind him, giving excellent rage of performances, from comedic hits 21 and 22 Jump Street, to Oscar nominated drama Foxcatcher.
